Here at St Jude's C of E Schools, we believe we have a duty to the child and

their family. Our whole school ethos revolves around supporting the whole child.

If we have unhappy, or unsettled children, they are not in the right place to learn and

won't reach their potential.

At the infant school, Mrs Summerton is the ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant)                                as well as the Parental Engagement Coordinator (PEC). Mrs Summerton is available in the                        afternoon to talk to parents who may be struggling in an area of parenting. This can be                     bedtime routines, fussy eaters, family breakdowns or children who were not behaving                               well at home.

 

At the junior school, Mrs Snow is the ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support                      Assistant) and spends her afternoons meeting and chatting with those                         children who may need a bit of extra support.
