Music is a particular strength at St Jude's Junior School. As well as hosting an array of music lessons including piano, drums, guitar and cello, we are particularly proud of our partnership with The Egham Band.

In Year 4, all spupils will be given a brass instrument and have weekly lessons. This culminates in a number of concerts and, should the children wish to keep up with their brass lessons at the end of the year, they can join St Jude's very own brass band.

The children are given a choice between a cornet, a trombone or a baritone.

St Jude's Brass has performed at a number of public events, including the Mayor's Garden Party and the annual Christmas Concert at St John's Church in Egham.
